We carry out all aspects of home improvement and general building services – new kitchens, new bathroom, painting and decorating, plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, tiling, partitioning, ceilings, walls, refurbishments, loft conversions and property extensions. Management & Office Staff

STEVE RICHESManaging Director
Originally started out in the field of Engineering. He then moved into finance, sales management and business development roles within the banking and recruitment sectors before setting up his own recruitment business in 2007. Over the years he has managed several business operations and now oversees the general operations of TLC.
TONY RICHESTechnical Director
After a successful career in the construction and engineering sectors where he held board level appointments, his experience has been gained through the breadth of projects he has been involved in. He now oversees TLC’s technical activities in a Project Management role. However, he cannot completely let go of the tools and often allows his thoughts to wander to Spain where he would like to retire to – although please, just don’t mention it unless you have a morning to spare!
BRIAN & SOPHIETLC Accounting Team
These two are life’s true Superstars! They manage TLC’s financial affairs and bring a wealth of accounting experience to the operation. Along with managing the financial reports, they are responsible for legal and regulatory controls and are an integral part of the operation. It’s safe to say we really wouldn’t be able to operate without them!
ABBIE PRATCHETTOffice Manager
Abbie provides essential support to the office team and lets them focus on what they’re good at – helping customers! She controls all office based functions for TLC and is responsible for all the things that run in the background but that are absolutely vital to ensure the smooth running of TLC operations. With an excellent academic background behind her she has the rare ability to get things right first time – a true asset – especially when she brings in her homemade cakes!
FRASER GORDONContracts Manager
Home grown talent is the cornerstone of TLC’s development program and Fraser is a good example of just that. He underwent a TLC apprenticeship, trained under experienced team members and worked his way up from apprentice to Junior Plumber to Bathroom Installer and then onto his current office based role as Contracts Manager. Managing the day to day operations and relationships with TLC clients, his practical experience has given him the tools to carry out this work – Fraser is a real success story and a very safe pair of hands.

Installation & Engineering Staff

JON ANDREWSInstallation Manager
Jon has been part of the TLC senior operation for several years now and is extremely serious about what he does. Not only does the finish have to be absolutely spot-on, but he also wants to share this work ethic with the rest of the team. Therefore, he is a natural Manager with the desire to get things right first time and leave a lasting, high quality installation every time. A credit to the operation.
STEVE FOSTERBathroom Installer
Steve has become a full time TLC Bathroom Installer having completing the TLC training program under Jon Andrews. No TLC installation is ever the same so it’s vital that his experience covers all types of designs, configurations and materials including porcelain, natural stone, ceramics and glass as well as all types of bathroom installations. His hard work has paid off and he is now a fully qualified TLC installer a general all round, good egg!
TONY POTTER & STUART HARMANProfessional Decorators
These two take the rightful credit for the transformation of each TLC Installation. Genuine tradesman with the eye for detail that make any skirting board or internal door look like a mirror once given the final touches. As any good decorator will tell you, it’s all in the preparation and his attention to this stage of the process pays real dividends once the final coats go on.
DAVE SKEWS, JASON HUBBARD & GLEN WOODSTOCKElectricians
Professional, qualified and accredited tradesmen are at the cornerstone of TLC’s operation and these guys are a very good example of just that. A friendly and hardworking team, Jason, Dave and Glenn undertake all of TLC’s electrical installations, upgrades and alterations. All of our work is fully certificated and registered with the relevant regulating bodies and these two are a fast, efficient team who are a pleasure to have around.
